Who is Apparat for?

Apparat is being built for people and organisations with photography or film projects, and for creators: photographers, filmmakers, teams, studios and production companies.

How is Apparat different from Upwork, Fiverr or Snappr?

Upwork and Fiverr are broad marketplaces for many kinds of freelance work. Snappr is an on-demand booking service: the client defines a shoot through a guided, packaged flow and then chooses from available photographers. Apparat is built for direct, custom photography and film projects. Clients can browse creators or publish a project; creators can discover work; and both sides discuss the scope, price and terms before creating the contract together. Apparat provides the marketplace and contracting tools rather than packaging the creative service for them.

How does a project begin?

A client can publish a project for creators to consider, or browse portfolios and invite a creator directly. Apparat does not assign someone automatically; the people involved decide whether to continue.

Where is Apparat launching?

The first Apparat release is being prepared for Sweden. The App Store and Google Play download links will be published here when the release is live.

How does the contract work?

The client and creator put the project scope, date, time, location and agreed price into one contract. Both review and confirm the same version before the job moves forward. The contract is confirmed inside Apparat; BankID signing is not part of the initial release.

Does Apparat process payment?

Not during the initial free period. Clients and creators agree the price in Apparat but arrange payment directly. Apparat does not collect, hold or release the money.

How much does Apparat cost?

Apparat will be free to use during the initial launch period. Any later pricing or paid services will be communicated before they apply.

What happens if I see inappropriate content or behaviour?

Users can report people, projects, messages and portfolio images, and can block other users. Automated moderation supports the process, while reports that require action are reviewed by a person.
